Add your machines, define cutting speeds, add materials, and connect them with corresponding machine speeds.

Adding Machines

  1. Select Machines from the menu bar.
  2. Click on the Add Machine button.
  3. Select the appropriate Category.
  4. Input the parameter values.
    • Speed Type parameter loosely corresponds to "material type", and is used while defining cutting speeds for this machine. Recommended set of values are Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel and any other material you may provide.
  5. Click Save.

Adding Cutting Speeds

Assign Cutting Speeds for your machines (E.g. Trumpf 5030-Steel-3mm-Oxygen).

  1. Select Speeds from the menu bar
  2. Click on the Add Speed button.
  3. Select the appropriate Category.
  4. Input the parameter values.
  5. Click Save.

Note: A Cutting Speed consists of a set of 4 elements (Machine, Speed/Material Type, Thickness, Cutting Quality), and is unique per each configuration. For example, you can define only one speed setting for Trumpf 5030 fiber - Steel - 3mm - Oxygen). However, if you need two or more different cutting speed settings per unique set, follow below steps:

  1. Select Machines from the menu bar.
  2. Select the appropriate machine.
  3. Find the Speed Type parameter.
  4. Type in the new speed type you want to create (e.g. Steel 2) and click Enter on your keyboard.
  5. Click Save.

Now, if you have another speed setting for cutting 3mm steel materials with Oxygen, which you can assign to the matching materials.

Adding Materials

As the last step of the machine-speed-material chain, you will add the materials that you are offering to your clients.

  1. Select Machines from the menu bar.
  2. Click on the Add Machine button.
  3. Select the appropriate Category.
  4. Input the parameter values.
    • After inputting Thickness, the field of Connect Speeds will appear. Within this, select the Machine, Speed Type and Cutting Quality to build the appropriate Machine-Speed-Material chain.
  5. Click Save.
