Configuring date, number and currency formats

There are numerous formats available for displaying information in numbers or special formats like date and time. In this section, you can:

  • Select the unit system (SI or Imperial).
  • Define the date, money, and number formats (e.g., decimal points, decimal separator, location of the currency sign).
  • Define the units for each number-related parameter (e.g., handle weight in kilograms or grams).
  • By utilizing Market Groups, customize these settings per market/country. (For more information on creating Market Groups, please navigate to the related article.


To configure unit formats:

  1. Select Unit Formats from the menu bar.
  2. Click on the Add Cost Center button.
  3. Select formats per entity
    • If you have multiple market groups, reflect changes in each of them.
      • Each market group is listed as a "tab" on the page.
      • "Backoffice" is listed within these market groups, which is for adjusting the formats visible to you and your colleagues at Backoffice.
    • End-users who don't belong to any specified market group will inherit the default market group's settings.
  4. Click Save.
