Some operations may require detailed information, especially for complex parts. To avoid confusion on the production floor, you can mandate that the end-user uploads a technical document for selected operations. If an "obligated" operation is within the list of operations needed to produce a part, user will be prompted to upload the technical drawing of that part to be able to proceed to checkout.
Please be aware any obligation which block the user from proceeding it their shopping journey may affect conversion rates negatively.
To set obligations:
- Select Document Obligation from the menu bar.
- Toggle the Required switch on/off for the selected operations.
- Click Save.
