Customizing Email Templates per language

All emails sent to your clients originate from these templates. There are two types of emails: those triggered automatically by client behavior (e.g., password reset requests) and those triggered manually by you (e.g., various order statuses).

From email templates you can:

  • Edit the text of the subject and the body of all email templates for all available languages.
  • Add email addresses to CC of BCC per language.
  • Utilize “smart values” in the subject or the body of the template (for example, the smart value %CompanyName% will be replaced with the purchaser's company name in the text).
  • Insert hyperlinks using any URL or even smart values.
  • Review how the email looks like from an end-user perspective by sending a test mail to yourself.

 

To edit email templates:

  1. Select Email Templates from the menu bar.
  2. Click on the template you wish to edit.
  3. Select the Language you wish to edit.
  4. Make your changes for this language and click  Save (opoup closed).
    • For the next language, click on the same template, change the Language, and repeat the process.
